The Ciclosport HAC 6 2012 is a new wireless cycle computer from the Ciclosport range providing users with a much longer battery life than any of the previous models. However, as welcome as the improved battery is, this is not the only feature that has had an overhaul. If you are looking for an all-round multi-sports computer this is definitely it.

The Ciclosport HAC 6 2012 model has been redesigned to simplify its usability and offer users a wide range of features and functions. The HAC 6 has all the standard cycling functions such as heart rate, power measurement, current and average speed, total distance and time, and cadence, but that’s not all. The new HAC 6 also has altimeter functions, temperature, ski/snowboard speeds, time countdown functions, and barometer functions.
The all new features found on the Ciclosport HAC 6 2012 model are primarily aimed at cyclists as it can now calculate your arrival time, be used on up to four different bikes, compare speeds, provide training guidance, and even remind you when it’s time for a drink!
Other features of the HAC 6 include a highly readable screen, even in bright sunlight, thanks to the Dot Matrix display and graphical HD display. If you are riding in low light or darkness the display does have illumination and automatic light management, allowing you to ride all day long.
The Ciclosport HAC 6 2012 computer is definitely more suited to those with experience of using these sorts of devices. If you do have prior knowledge and can find your way around a cycling computer with your eyes closed you won’t have any problems getting to grips with all the features and functions. However, if this is your first computer the sheer number of functions could cause a lot of confusion, and may in fact be far more functions that you could ever need. If you are looking for your first cycling computer you might be better off looking at an entry-level model, unless you have a spare few hours to learn how to use the HAC 6.
Like we previously mentioned, the Ciclosport HAC 6 2012 is definitely not suitable for someone who is looking for a computer which can record the basic cycling functions. The vast range of features would be completely lost on someone with little experience of using a cycling computer.
However, there really isn’t much to complain about. If you are looking for computer which could do just about everything, you will certainly find it in the HAC 6.
The Ciclosport HAC 6 2012 comes with just about every accessory you could ever need, the box includes the wristband, handlebar holder, chest strap, speed and cadence sensor, USB docking station, user manual, and PC software. This makes a nice change from most computers where all the accessories are sold separately, and at an extra cost.
