The Cycleops Jetfluid Pro Trainer is a high quality turbo trainer that gives you a smooth ride and consistent, progressive resistance. This trainer is designed to give you a lifelike cycling experience while still challenging you to go further and harder.
When it comes to setting up, it is pretty easy and may take a bit of adjusting here and there but nothing major. Unfortunately, the CycleOps Jetfluid Pro Trainer is actually quite heavy and bulky so storing it can be a bit of a problem. If you were thinking of storing it under the bed, think again as it will need quite a bit of space when not in use.
In terms of design, CycleOps have included the airflow channel used on the CycleOps Fluid2 Turbo Trainer. This keeps the radiator fins on the resistance unit much cooler and reduces wear and tear. Not only will this ensure the longevity of your trainer but it will also make the resistance as consistent as possible.
The ride on the CycleOps Jetfluid Pro Trainer is faultless. This is thanks to what Cycleops refers to as its “PowerTuned technology” whereby the precision-balanced flywheel unites with the power curve to give you the most realistic cycling experience possible. Now I know that this sounds like a great advertising line but let me tell you, it really works. The ride is extremely smooth and it feels very natural when accelerating to higher speeds.
This trainer has a large enough resistance range to cover all but the most extreme indoor training sessions, and is perfect for those long hard stamina building sessions.
As far as noise goes, it ranks up there with the quietest trainers that I have used and is certainly fine for indoor use.
Overall this is a high quality and very stable trainer. The sturdy build and innovative cooling mechanism make it a great long-term investment.
