We love bicycles, we love cyclists, we even love dogs that sit in bicycle baskets. Part of our mission is to get as many people cycling as possible, it’s fun and it’s healthy. And when we see a good cause come along, from people who also love cycling, we like to help them reach their goals.
Saris, the makers of the CycleOps bike trainers and bicycle car racks are giving away $6000 to local bicycle advocacy groups and we want all of you lovely Bike Trainer Reviews readers to get involved.
Here’s what they have to say about it:
We believe that by creating safe places for people to ride we can also create a better quality of life. So if you agree, help us spread the love of the bike by sharing your beloved bicycling photos, videos and greatest bike stories. For six months (April – September) we will pick our favorite story and donate $1,000 to the winner’s local Bike Advocacy Group. With this effort we will not only share our love of bicycling, we’ll also create great places for our children’s children to ride a bike!
To enter, simply:
- Share an original photo or video (new or old) featuring you and your loved ones riding your bike.
- Post a photo or short video (~15 – 30 sec) on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Vine or VIMEO between April 1 – September 30.
- Hashtag #longfortheride.
- Lastly submit your entry here and share your story about your best bicycling experience.
Each month they will choose their favorite story. In return for spreading the word about your love of bicycling CycleOps will donate $1,000 to the local bike advocacy group of the winning entry.
